I am in marching band and the drum major at my school. I really enjoyed this book. The line that stuck most with me was "A musician can play scales and exercises all day, but if she doesn’t FEEL the music, if she doesn’t dig down deep within herself, she’s just making noise." I really felt and understood this line as a musician. 10/10 I am recommending this book to everyone in my band

It was a good book but it took an interesting turn near the middle. R.K. Slate you gotta write the next book soon!!

I couldn't believe how much this mimicked my own experience in band. Loved the story because I could relate.

I loved this book. I love all things band and marching band is my favorite season! I'm not as introverted as Rigby is, but I do identify with her! She is such a relatable character to anyone with a love of music, or especially, band! Not to mention, I am OBSESSED with Beethoven. 10/10 would recommend!

I read this entire book in one sitting and it was a wonderful journey! I see no evidence yet of the other books in the trilogy, but I look very forward to reading them.

I read this book in 3 evenings (I couldn't put it down)! I was nervous that I would be a little lost since I know nothing about marching band, but not the case at all. I was enthralled with this story and constantly guessing where the story was going to go, and I was not disappointed. Very well written, a great read for all ages!

This book is on point! I read it in 2 days and I'm a slow reader. Actually sucked me into the time series. I can't wait for the next one. Now my son wants to read it too.He is a band nerd!

Enjoyed reading this as I have 2 kids marching in HS right now. Interesting twist with the time travel aspect. Can't wait to see what's next for Rigby and Chewie and the band. Keep writing Mr. Slade!
